BLOOD & SILVER
Adapted from Jan Glazewski’s memoir of the same title, “Blood and Silver” is a compelling
one-man play directed and designed by Fred Abrahamse, and performed by David Muller. It traces Glazewski’s remarkable life through themes of blood and silver – his struggle with haemophilia and HIV, and his family’s buried heirlooms in war-torn Poland. Seamlessly blending humour and poignancy, “Blood and Silver” explores exile, resilience, and the search for belonging. Abrahamse’s imaginative staging and Muller’s captivating performance illuminate a story of courage, healing, and gratitude. The real treasure lies in rediscovered family and hope.
